One of my favorite parts about the holidays is all of the fun dishes and recipes that you can do! Do you have any favorite dishes that you are making this season? I usually try to make a few sweeter options and then throw a few savory ones in the mix. But whichever it is, one of my favorite parts is making it holiday themed! If you're like me and love making holiday themed recipes then you are going to love this one. It's super simple and just requires assembly, making it the perfect appetizer for a Christmas party or hors d'oeuvre before Christmas dinner. I made this one personally for our work Christmas party. Super quick to throw together, easy to transport and it's great for a crowd because it's a grab-and-go situation! You can also modify these for all of your friends diet needs by altering what you use on the stick- I made several no-meat versions and also some without dairy so that everyone could indulge. I hope you enjoy snacking on these as much as I did making them! Your friends and family are sure to enjoy them as well!
Serves: 10-15
Ingredients:
2 packages salami
1 tall container of feta stuffed or regular green olives
1 container kalamata olives
1 container fresh grape tomatoes
Small mozzarella balls
Fresh rosemary sprigs (a decent amount)
Large wooden picks
Note: The quantity is really up to how many you want to serve! Get more or less depending on your number. You need about one each above the above except for mozzarella which I used two per pick.
Directions: Assemble the ingredients on a pick, arrange in the form of a wreath. Arrange rosemary throughout the picks to create greenery for the wreath. For an added touch, place a bow at the top! Serve them up and enjoy with your guests!
What are you whipping up this holiday season? Stay tuned for a few more recipes to dro before the holiday! P.S. Are you done with your shopping?! Christmas is NEXT WEEK! WHo's panicking? I'm not panicking.
Until next time, Cheers!
