Ginger Cranberry Pom Paloma

Okay guys, this might be my favorite cocktail to date! I don't know about you, but I am a BIG fan of palomas. My honest take? I might just like them better than margs! I've always been more of a vodka than tequila girl, but have had my fair share of margs. But honestly a paloma tastes much fresher and crisp to me. And this one?! It's so freaking good! It's giving me allll the Christmas vibes. The cranberry, pomegrante and grape fruit juice combined with a splash of ginger beer really makes it amazing. Whether you've had a Paloma or not before, I promise this one's gonna make you love them. I highly recommend not skimping out on the pomegrante arils, because it adds the BEST pop of sweetness in my opinion. It's the perfect cocktail to serve up for all your Christmas activities! Having a crowd? Making a pitcher! Easy peasey And all you have to do is top with ginger. :) I might would recommend the pitcher regardless, you're going to be wanting more than one of these for sure! Joking, but actually pretty serious haha!

 

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz silver tequila (1/2 cup)

  • 4 oz cranberry pomegrante juice (I used sugar free)

  • 2 oz fresh grapefruit juice

  • 2 oz fresh lime juice

  • 2 oz simple syrup

  • Ginger beer, to top


Optional:

  • Sugared cranberries, for garnish

  • Pomegranate arils, for garnish

  • Grapefruit and lime slices, for garnish

  • Rosemary, for garnish

  • Christmas themed ice cubes


Directions:

  1. To make sugared cranberries: Toss in maple syrup and let sit for about 10 mins. Drain and toss in sugar. Lay flat in one layer to dry.

  2. Combine all ingredients except ginger beer in a shaker with ice cubes and shake well.

  3. Fill two glasses with ice. Divide cocktail between glasses. Garnish with fruits and rosemary if desired. Serve it up!
